Karin Dixon, BNSc, MN-NP, NP, CMP
Karin Dixon BNSc, MN-NP, a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years in the healthcare field, brings a wealth of expertise to her role. With 12 years as a Nurse Practitioner and an additional 5 years as a Registered Nurse prior to launching her own business, Karin's background includes extensive practice in primary care, with a focus on women's health, pediatrics, and travel health.
Her dedication to professional growth is evident through her achievements, including Advanced Injector Certification (filler and BOTOX™) from the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine, Menopause Certified Practitioner certification from the Menopause Society (formerly the North American Menopause Society), and Travel Medicine certification from the International Society of Travel Medicine.
In her role as a Nurse Practitioner, Karin possesses the expertise to diagnose common medical conditions, prescribe a wide range of medications, order diagnostic tests, and make clinically appropriate referrals to specialists.
Karin places great emphasis on delivering care that aligns with patient goals, empowering individuals to rejuvenate their confidence and reclaim their vitality. She advocates for positive aging and believes in meeting clients where they are in their personal journey, steering clear of societal pressures often portrayed in popular culture and on social media.
KVINDE Medical Aesthetics operates from an AHS-approved private clinical space in West Springs, Calgary. The clinic is fully licensed, insured, and adheres to stringent infection prevention and control protocols.
